知译（Zhiyi）是一款浏览器翻译扩展。我们高度重视你的隐私，并遵循「数据最小化」原则。

1. 不收集个人信息。 知译没有自建的后端服务器，不收集、不存储、不上传任何个人身份信息（姓名、邮箱、账号、浏览历史等一律不收集）。
2. 配置只存本机。 你的配置（翻译引擎、目标语言、站点规则、API Key）与翻译缓存，仅保存在你本机浏览器的存储中（chrome.storage），不会离开你的设备。
3. 翻译文本仅发往你选择的服务。 为实现翻译功能，被翻译的文本会发送到你所选择的翻译服务：选择 Bing 引擎时发送至微软 Bing 翻译接口；选择 OpenAI 兼容引擎时发送至你自行填写的接口地址（如 DeepSeek，或运行在本机 localhost 的 Ollama）。除此之外，知译不会把你的数据发送到任何其他服务器。
4. 不出售、不共享。 我们不会出售你的数据，也不会与任何第三方共享，更不会用于广告、信用评估等与翻译无关的用途。
5. 随时清除。 卸载扩展即可清除本机保存的全部配置与缓存。

Zhiyi is a browser translation extension. We take your privacy seriously and follow the principle of data minimization.

1. No personal data collected. Zhiyi has no backend server of its own and does not collect, store, or upload any personally identifiable information.
2. Settings stay on your device. Your settings (translation engine, target language, site rules, API key) and translation cache are stored only in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage) and never leave your device.
3. Translated text goes only to the service you choose. To perform translation, the text being translated is sent to the service you select: Microsoft Bing, or the OpenAI-compatible endpoint you configure yourself (e.g. DeepSeek, or a local Ollama on localhost). Beyond that, nothing is sent anywhere else.
4. No selling, no sharing. We do not sell your data or share it with any third party.
5. Clear anytime. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored settings and cache.
